INKSHOT COVER PRINT IN YOUR BRAIN
May 12, 2009my fellow co-editors and the artist will probably, like we say in Portuguese, twitch the nose as i’m showing unfinished versions of our official cover, but i just. had. to. because it’s a beautiful thing, both in it’s single and wraparound design:

the amazing art + design was done by the incredible Felipe Sobreiro, and the logo by our art director Felipe Cunha, who’s doing final touches on the art for Rodrigo Alonso’s EVERY DAY. and Sobreiro is illustrating assistant-editor Pablo Casado’s THE BULLET TEXTBOOK script.
by the way, check EARTHBUILDERS, April winner for Zuda Comics’ monthly competition. Sobreiro did colours for that and since they won a contract the comic is soon to be serialized there. the hard-working spirit is in the Sobreiro DNA, and we’re very happy to have his father Milton Sobreiro on board with us as well.
father and son have worked together on several comics, the latest one being a short story for Boom Studios’ CTHULHU TALES #11.
